Hi, when I follow someone I usually do this from multiple accounts, with different servers and platforms. This is partially as backup. It’s also because different software has different features. E.g. at the moment of writing I mainly post from my Friendica server, but it doesn’t yet support polls, or account migrations. So I also follow from my Pleroma server, which does notify me someone has migrated.
I also sometimes use platforms that support nomadic identity, that allows my channels on multiple servers to be synced. From software that doesn’t support that, a follow request looks like multiple separate requests from those channels.
Content warning: pinned opinion about nude scenes in films
My opinion about nude scenes in films: against my own interests I believe that they are always avoidable and the same impressions can be achieved in other ways.
Many actresses are somewhere in their career forced to do a nude (sex) scene. The male actors hardly ever are. To me the purpose seems sales rather than art. I'd wish for films to never include nude scenes and to always use suggestion instead.
When I reshare a Twitter post from my own feed there, onto this fediverse account, it's only things I would otherwise have posted here anyway but this way it saves me typing it twice. It's not something unattended at all (as proven by the manual resharing), just somewhat lazy. I also leave out stuff that's not fitting for the fediverse. #CrossPosting

I read and watch sci-fi and fantasy, and am interested in ways to achieve social justice, gender and race equality, sustainable energy use and climate justice.
Feel free to follow, as I will also follow other accounts I find interesting without expectation of them following back. Feel free to share (boost, repeat) my posts if you want, using whatever share function comes with your platform. I tend to close DMs to only allow people I follow. I check my fediverse accounts only one or a few times a day, typically on my phone or tablet, so I tend to not be part of live discussions.
This is by far, by far, the best film of the franchise. Jenna Ortega is amazing. The whole cast play their characters amazingly. The script includes proper characters unlike some horror films. Only one of two episodes that have the opening credits. I think they didn't want to cut out too much material so most episodes just skip the full credits. Still I understand much was cut, e.g. there was supposed to be a cello scene in most episodes, tying in to Wednesday's emotional state and most of these were filmed. I've been watching the Scream films to get ready for the release of Scream VI this week. Now I'm rewatching the fifth film, Scream, the one with Jenna Ortega, from my 4k disc. Last year I saw this film in the cinema and it was my first experience seeing Jenna on the big screen, which is even more impressive.

I really liked the film itself as well. I can't really mention it, but there are some things in films that should be 'do it, don't just say it' and this film does that right. Jenna mentioned that it was an intelligent script and I see what she means.
I remember seeing Chloë Grace Moretz on the big screen for the first time (in The Miseducation of Cameron Post) after seeing her a lot on my tv. That was an incredible experience as well.

I saw at least one of the Scream films, but I can't remember which one. Too long ago. It's odd, since I saw a lot of Neve Campbell like The Craft, Three To Tango, Wild Things, 54, but never considered finishing all of Scream to be necessary viewing within her oeuvre.
Living very remote and yet the schoolbus drops her off right at her home. Do schoolbusses exist in real life btw, or is it just an American film thing?
When I watch a film I like to have an emotional attachment to the characters and the story. But when the point of the film is that people are dropping dead like flies and the film itself makes fun of its own story, that's not really happening. At the moment (halfway) I find myself not caring who the killer is.
This was indeed not the one in the franchise I had seen before. Neve has more room in this film to make her character than I had expected assuming it was just going to be girl running from killer, so I probably should not have ignored this one. But I don't understand how people consider this film so iconic, since it really isn't that great. Republica on the soundtrack though, that was nice.

Missy is a properly intriguing character, played very well by Neve Campbell. I like this kind of film. Normally when a woman character in a film is the victim of things, she's portrayed all through the film as having a victim-like personality. Missy is not portrayed like that at all (most men in the film are scared of her), so you catch yourself as viewer questioning things and then questioning your preconceptions as a film should. #LostJunction #NeveCampbell
The cinema release for Scream (the fifth installment starring Jenna Ortega) is now listed in Dutch cinemas as 20 January. Earlier it had said 13, which would have been weird since it's 14 in the US and our Covid measures run to at least 14 Jan.
