Currently, no, unfortunately we have a different display for your own profile when you're logged in so you can't have access to this screen unless you create a second account and browse your own contact page.

I'd do a tip saying that you can best run your washing machine in off hours since evening out energy usage is better for the environment and that always doing that is even better since predictability of energy usage is even more important, but I'm afraid someone would come by and cancels me for using a washing machine instead of doing the laundry with a washing board. Only for that person to be cancelled for doing any laundry at all, since it's best to just keep wearing your smelly clothes. So I won't. I'll leave this here, do with it whatever you want.

Post-mortem:

Yesterday my hosting provider, Hetzner, received an abuse report for our entire IP due to a user account that apparently was used as a botnet controller. I suspended the account immediately, but forgot to submit a statement to Hetzner.

After 24 hours, the IP to mastodon.social was locked by Hetzner. I've reached out to them as soon as I learned of this.

I like this version of the Lara Croft character. I haven't seen the other film, but I like this take on her. Intelligent, obstinate, and dare I say it, realistic. At least personality-wise someone you believe could exist.

The film is told from Travis' perspective, mostly, and since he's quite the racist, a lot that is said in the film is as well. Those are the perils of having a morally unjust character as pov.

It is left to the viewer to decide that he is morally unjust, though. In the end the film even portrays him as a hero.

I guess I need to figure out why my Wordpress no longer posts to Activitypub and why link previews of it are not working on Friendica, but are fine on Pleroma and Twitter.

We had snow today, quite unusual for November.

I quite dislike the anti-vaxx message in current Doctor Who (Flux), or at least that I read it that way. Glad that these are the last episodes of the current show runner.

I've got all three seasons of Mary Kills People on dvd now, so I'm (re-)watching it to get my Katie Douglas fix. Just started season three. So great to see her.

Season three is even better than the first two. Though Katie's role is still somewhat small, it's deeper and more heartfelt.

Thinking about how Jodie Foster in 1976(*), when she was 12/13yo, made four films. In one she played a prostitute (Taxi Driver), in another her character was all about seducing the male character (Bugsy Malone) and in a third her 13yo character has a sexual relationship with a 19yo boy (The Little Girl Who Lives Down The Lane). I haven't seen the fourth (Echoes of a Summer). What is a girl to make of that growing up? Luckily hyper smart Jodie seems to have been above all that.

I feel a bit for Florrie Dugger (now Florence Garland) who as Blousey played a much bigger part than Jodie's Tallulah, but she's never shown anywhere on dvd covers and the like. I guess that's the difference between having only one acting credit in imdb vs a double academy winner. She plays Blousey really well though and I think Blousey makes the film.
