in reply to Gidi Kroon • •The film is told from Travis' perspective, mostly, and since he's quite the racist, a lot that is said in the film is as well. Those are the perils of having a morally unjust character as pov.
It is left to the viewer to decide that he is morally unjust, though. In the end the film even portrays him as a hero.
