I really liked the series, it's varied enough in its stories to not be a repetitive kids-running-from-dinosaurs-and-surviving. The characters are quite interesting and multi-faceted. The development of the two girls finding out they like girls and especially each other, was nicely done.
I dislike how Hollywood writers whenever they write a smart teenage girl, invariably shoehorn in a love story with the bad-guy-who-turns-out-to-be-ok, even if it doesn't make sense for the character to be attracted to such a guy. Jenna Ortega is, or will be, filming Death of a Unicorn. As an A24 film this is not impacted by the strike (as A24 accepted the union's conditions and the union promotes people working on such projects).

Reminds me of this KY-TV thing where a complaint about their station's weather forecast was that during hot summer days it kept forecasting snow and ice and their reply was that it was because they were broadcasting repeats from last winter.
All the sketches are online on their YouTube channel, the full episode has only the outro as extra bit and two or three times that she announces the music guest. These are just one line but surprisingly she has a different outfit for each. I don't know whether that's common on SNL, or whether it's a Jenna thing.
You can see that I've never watched an SNL episode. I don't know how the format works. I don't know which of the sketches are live and which are recorded. To do even some of them live seems a herculean task.

This is by far, by far, the best film of the franchise. Jenna Ortega is amazing. The whole cast play their characters amazingly. The script includes proper characters unlike some horror films. Still I understand much was cut, e.g. there was supposed to be a cello scene in most episodes, tying in to Wednesday's emotional state and most of these were filmed. I love how Jenna makes all of Wednesday's movements so perfect.
