Pinned post, about following from multiple addresses

Hi, when I follow someone I usually do this from multiple accounts, with different servers and platforms. This is partially as backup. It’s also because different software has different features. E.g. at the moment of writing I mainly post from my Friendica server, but it doesn’t yet support polls, or account migrations. So I also follow from my Pleroma server, which does notify me someone has migrated.

I also sometimes use platforms that support nomadic identity, that allows my channels on multiple servers to be synced. From software that doesn’t support that, a follow request looks like multiple separate requests from those channels.

Maybe the European title will be 'The 16:30 Film'... ;-)

Two 'Whoa!'s: first that I apparently forgot to mention here that Siena Agudong will lead the upcoming film for tubi called Sidelined: The QB and me, playing Dallas (the cheerleader, not the city).

Second 'Whoa!' today is that Mia Shanks is joining her in that film as Emily. Mia is a singer and actress who may be known as the daughter of Lexa Doig (Andromeda in Andromeda) but she is now making her own mark.

Watching Siena Agudong (known from No Good Nick and Upside-Down Magic) in the new Resident Evil series released just yesterday on Netflix.

Judging by the first episode, it follows Jade in two timelines: one is 2036 ('14 years after the end') and the other is 2022 ('the end'). Siena is Billie, Jade's 'twin' sister in the 2022 timeline. Billie seems interestingly complex.

The Disney film Upside-Down Magic is surprisingly sad. It's about squashed dreams and kids having to come to terms with having no future. Obviously there's a different resolution to the film. Siena Agudong as Reina (second lead in the film and the reason I watched it) is amazing as the girl who's buckling under the pressure of expectations and insecurities. You really feel this role. Alison Fernandez in the supporting role of Pepper is really good as well; I know her from Logan and the final season of Once Upon a Time. Izabela Rose of course carries the film very well as the girl who's magic is 'upside-down'.

This Sunday, Siena Agudong's film Upside-down Magic will be on the Disney Channel in The Netherlands: 24 October at 16:59. I've looked for it so often in the Disney+ app after hearing it was released, but not found it. It's still not there. I'm excited to finally get to see it.

Ahh, the recording failed! I was out jogging so I set it to record, but it only recorded the first bit... It's Descendants all over again which I also had to record multiple times before seeing it in full.
