I was side chatting re etiquette/culture using mens vs ladies washrooms, am now wondering if they are different spaces socially.

Like do the stalls in the women's and the liminal space of the sinks mean for a more relaxed and social space (having a bit o privacy for your business). They are a kind of sanctuary space of solidarity. Is my personal take on the vibe.

What's the vibe/culture in the mens?

(this was a cishet and trans/nb context, so opine however you aling - or tales from both!)

The pressure at a urinal is to do your business as fast as possible and GTFO.

If there are stalls, it's a bit better.

@Valerie Roney Men's restrooms aren't a social space. The etiquette is very much to not interact, at all, ever.
