As of today, the #EU Batteries Regulation will make them safer, circular and sustainable throughout their lifecycle, including:
- A restriction on harmful substances - Mandatory minimum levels of recycled content from 2025 - Removable and replaceable portable batteries in consumer electronics by 2027 - Recovery targets for raw materials, such as nickel and lithium
